FACTS Fulcrum & Assumption Tuition Assistance Applications

Tuition Assistance applications are now open for the 2025-2026 school year!

The website to complete the application is https://online.factsmgt.com/SignIn.aspx

The window to complete the application is from October 2, 2024, through December 31, 2024. This application is for both the Fulcrum Foundation Tuition Assistance Program and the Assumption Catholic School Tuition Assistance Program.

As a reminder, submitting the application online is just the first step. All applicants must also provide supporting documentation, including your 2023 1040 tax returns and W-2’s. Applications can only be verified and processed once all necessary documentation is submitted. It takes FACTS about 14 business days to process applications once paperwork is received, so the sooner it’s submitted, the better.

The deadline for applications to be submitted and documents to be uploaded into FACTS is December 31, 2024.

If you need help uploading your documents, please contact Angie King at 733-6133 ext. 4313 or email at aking@assumption.school.

School Mass this Friday

This Friday, October 4th, Mrs. Morris’s 1st graders will be leading Mass. All K-8 students should wear dress uniforms and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend each Mass or prayer service!

Our servers will be Laurisa Diaz Vargas, Erick Dennis, and Joseph Herron.  Please have these students arrive to church by 8 am.  Thank you.

Tardies and Absences

The school’s policy in the handbook states that more than three tardies in a semester may result in a lunch detention. More than six tardies may result in an after-school detention. An automated email will come from the school as soon as one of these limits is reached, with the lunch detention required on the upcoming Tuesday.

If you have questions about this email or find the tally in error, please email theoffice@assumption.school.

Cross Country Update

Our Eagles cross country team had a wet but fantastic meet last week at Cornwall Park! Despite the slick conditions we had some great results with Dominic, Nick, David and Terra getting personal records! We would like to give a huge shout out to Mr. C, Mrs. Eusebio, Mrs. Sheafor, Mr. Machinski, Mrs. Dennis, Mr. Twining and all the other fans and family who helped us have a very successful meet last week! You were all true servants that we are grateful for. Come out to the Deming Log Show on Thursday for the Eagles next meet!

Family Directories

Today the 2024-25 family directories were sent home through the Wednesday envelopes.  All new families K-8th should have received a blue folder with all the information from school including class lists, staff list and family information.  All returning families received only those pages that are new for this year, and you can update your blue folder at home.  Apologies for 3rd grade and 6th grade this week, your Wednesday envelopes will go home on Thursday.

LAST CALL FOR SPONSORSHIP – HOLY HOOPS

Time is running out—just one day left to sponsor Holy Hoops! This year, we have a record number of players, and we need your support more than ever to make this event truly special. Your sponsorship will not only keep Holy Hoops amazing, but it will also help us purchase new uniforms for our basketball program. Every contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference. Sponsorships are due by October 4th, and we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Autumn Bash, Presented by our Student Ambassadors

A night full of music, dancing, food/drinks, fun, and a photo booth!

The Autumn Bash, a fun dance for Assumption Middle Schoolers, will take place on Saturday, October 12th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the gym. It will be chaperoned by our teachers and staff! Permission slips and guidelines went home in today’s Wednesday envelopes. Please be sure to return completed forms and the small $5 entry fee (used for food and decorations) to the office by Friday, October 4th.

When we have a count of students attending, our Student Ambassadors will share a SignUpGenius in case parents would like to earn a volunteer hour by providing snacks for the dance.

We hope to see you there!

Pick-up reminders

Some students leave with their parents before the supervising teacher has arrived at his/her sign. The teacher has a list and would like to check each student before they leave campus. Please have your child check in with the teacher at his/her sign before leaving school in the afternoon.

Parents have done a good job of parking before the 3 pm time and walking or driving in once the gates open. To help with traffic further, please come at 3:05 if your child is in K-4, or at 3:10 pm if your child is in 5th-8th grade. If you have multiple children, you should come at the time of the youngest student. This will help with flow.

Finally, remember to only enter on the Virginia St. entrance to the parking lot, and exit on Kentucky by the high school.

Women’s Connect @ Assumption

This is a group uniting women into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This month we are starting a seven-week Eucharistic Study in the school library from 7-9pm. It will begin on Thursday, October 3rd.

If interested, please see our website and other information.

Saint of the Week Question:

Which saint born in Poland, had received revelations from Jesus Christ and recorded these messages in her diary of the request of Christ and her confessors?

She will forever be linked to the feast of the Divine Mercy, the Divine Mercy chaplet and the Divine prayer to be recited each day at 3pm by many faithful people.

**Please submit your answer to the office with Mrs. King.
