Each year, it is our goal to meet the needs of all families who require assistance to attend Assumption Catholic School and to ensure fairness in the process. Tuition assistance is available to all families who qualify in kindergarten through eighth grade. Each year we ask families in need of tuition assistance to apply through FACTS. There is an application fee of $29 per family. The allocation team then reviews applications and makes awards based on need. Our determination for assistance is based on income reported on your tax return, and provides anywhere from $500 to $2000 per child, depending on need. This is an annual process as we know financial circumstances can often change.
We have TWO funding sources for Tuition Assistance:
The Fulcrum Tuition Assistance Grant Program (TAP) is designed for families and students currently enrolled or applying for the next school year in any Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle. A family must apply each year through FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to qualify for a grant. All awards are made based on financial need.

To apply, you are required to complete the FACTS Grant and Aid application. Each family situation will be reviewed and awards will be based on need.

(Some money is reserved throughout the summer for new families who apply in June or July, but the majority of allocations are given when award letters go out in mid-April.)
Only ONE FACTS application is required per family for Fulcrum and/or Assumption Catholic School Tuition Assistance.
