$ FACTS Fulcrum & Assumption Tuition Assistance Applications

Tuition Assistance applications are now open for the 2025-2026 school year!

The website to complete the application is https://online.factsmgt.com/SignIn.aspx

The window to complete the application is from October 2, 2024, through December 31, 2024. This application is for both the Fulcrum Foundation Tuition Assistance Program and the Assumption Catholic School Tuition Assistance Program.

As a reminder, submitting the application online is just the first step. All applicants must also provide supporting documentation, including your 2023 1040 tax returns and W-2’s. Applications can only be verified and processed once all necessary documentation is submitted. It takes FACTS about 14 business days to process applications once paperwork is received, so the sooner it’s submitted, the better.

The deadline for applications to be submitted and documents to be uploaded into FACTS is December 31, 2024.

If you need help uploading your documents, please contact Angie King at 733-6133 ext. 4313 or email at aking@assumption.school.

No School Mass This Friday

Next Friday, October 18th, Mrs. William’s 3rd graders will be leading Mass. All K-8 students should wear dress uniforms and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend each Mass or prayer service!

Our servers will be Sam Twining, Ben White and Blake McGuire.  Please have these students arrive to church by 8 am.  Thank you.

Tardies and Absences

The school’s policy in the handbook states that more than three tardies in a semester may result in a lunch detention. More than six tardies may result in an after-school detention. An automated email will come from the school as soon as one of these limits is reached, with the lunch detention required on the upcoming Tuesday.

If you have questions about this email or find the tally in error, please email theoffice@assumption.school.

Cross Country Update

Eagles had a successful meet at the Deming Log Show last week. Erick, Graedon, Ethan, Robby and Enrico all got PRs, while Finley and Luz got their season records. It’s an exciting week for the Eagles team, with a league meet at Hovander Park on Wednesday and an invitational at Lakewood High School on Friday. Our 6th graders have been training all season and will finally be able to compete on Friday! Cheer on your Eagles team when you see them in the hallway and wish the 6th graders luck! Go Eagles!

Autumn Bash, Presented by our Student Ambassadors

A night full of music, dancing, food/drinks, fun, and a photo booth!

The Autumn Bash, a fun dance for Assumption Middle Schoolers, will take place on Saturday, October 12th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the gym. Our student ambassadors are using the entry fees collected to supply some snacks and drinks, but homemade baked goods are also welcome. If you would like to send something, please be sure to label it for allergens and keep treats to finger foods. We do not want to wash or throw away utensils!

All students attending must have a signed permission slip on file. Please help your child remember this function is strictly FUN and FRIENDLY!

Pick-up reminders

Some students leave with their parents before the supervising teacher has arrived at his/her sign. The teacher has a list and would like to check each student before they leave campus. Please have your child check in with the teacher at his/her sign before leaving school in the afternoon.

Parents have done a good job of parking before the 3 pm time and walking or driving in once the gates open. To help with traffic further, please come at 3:05 if your child is in K-4, or at 3:10 pm if your child is in 5th-8th grade. If you have multiple children, you should come at the time of the youngest student. This will help with flow.  We want to make this a nice, easy time for parents, students and families in the neighborhood. Please remember to not block alleys, driveways or streets.  Let’s all be safe out there.

Finally, remember to only enter on the Virginia St. entrance to the parking lot, and exit on Kentucky by the high school.

Middle School Youth Group

Hello Middle School Families,

This week at Middle School Youth Group, we’ll have our usual fun while also exploring how faith impacts our everyday lives. Additionally, due to some exciting things that happened at our last youth group, we’ll be having ice cream with special toppings—but not in the usual way! I won’t spoil the surprise, but I will say you probably won’t be using spoons or your hands to eat it!

Join us on Friday, October 11th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Sacred Heart Hall to find out what all the craziness is about! All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome.

Thanks!

Daniel Prenosil

EDP Snack Policy

This is a kindly reminder to pack an extra snack for your student specifically for them to have during EDP.  Make sure that it is labeled with EDP for the homeroom teacher to know.  Thank you for keeping your child prepared for after school activities. If you have questions, please email Coach Eager at keager@assumption.school
