Growing Great Kids Auction and Gala COVID Protocols:

**These protocols are subject to change up to the date of the event**

In gathering for this very important annual fundraiser we want to acknowledge that our amazing faculty and staff have made many sacrifices to keep Assumption students in school for in-person learning throughout the past eighteen months.  We have put in place the following protocols to aid their efforts to keep our students and teachers in their classrooms and to keep our community healthy.

First, we have moved our auction to a different venue, the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, to provide attendees much more space to socialize and to social distance.

Masks are required for all volunteers and attendees except while actively eating and drinking.  During the silent auction, there will be a separate area for guests to enjoy food and beverages apart from the display of silent auction items.

We encourage guests who are attending the live auction to “Buy the Table” and invite members of their family or friend group whom they feel comfortable dining with.

All volunteers and attendees of the Growing Great Kids Auction and Gala should follow recommendations from the Washington State Department of Health as found in the document titled “If You Gather: A Safety Overview” https://coronavirus.wa.gov/information-for/you-and-your-family/safer-gatherings

Anyone with a fever or other cold or flu symptoms or who has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the past two weeks should stay home.  Testing decreases the likelihood of spreading infection and as such we expect all attendees to get tested within 72 hours of the event (either PCR or rapid antigen test.)  The school will gladly aid in accessing testing supplies if at all possible.  We do not expect proof of a negative test, we trust our community and expect everyone to act accordingly based on your test results.

The Growing Great Kids Auction has a hybrid format this year with access to the silent auction online for the entire week prior to the in-person event.  We encourage any supporters who are uncomfortable with these protocols to please join us for the silent auction.  https://charityauction.bid/growinggreatkids2022
