Staffing Update
We have a first-grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! Welcome to Maria Morris. She has been a kindergarten and first-grade teacher in Seattle, was an art teacher previously, and was subbing in Mukilteo until moving to Bellingham this year. She and her family are now members of Church of the Assumption. We are excited to have her on our staff for the upcoming year.
Playground Angels STILL Needed!
We only have 3 weeks left and we need those you each day.
Thank you to all of you die-hard supervisors for the playground!
PTC News
- Missoula Children’s Theater: What a great performance. Thank you everyone that helped in some way!
- Good Bye Dan! PTC would like to thank the parents, friends, and family who stopped by this weekend to wish Dan farewell. We will miss him greatly as he embarks on a much-deserved advance in his career. The strength of our current school community is much attributed to his attention here, and we thank you for enhancing our program. Thank you also, to Dayna Dennis, and our parent helpers for putting together this thoughtful goodbye.
Marian Shrine in Western Washington
Rossanna Ryan from the Ferry Foundation visited last week with some of our students to pray with them to Our Mother, Mary and get their ideas for the first Shrine to the Blessed Mother in Western Washington.
The attached assignment (Link here) is addressed to parents but has already been done with Senora Anna, Mrs. Ryan, and the students in grades 2-4 at Assumption. We were excited to be asked to participate and the students learned a great deal about May 13th and the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima.
