Assumption’s Got Talent Variety Was Stupendous!
Many things needed to fall into place this year just at the right time and it must have been the Holy Spirit guiding us through it all. Brenna amazingly threw out the old curtains and put up the new ones just in time. Torry literally took many hours to help with the practices, auditions, learning a sound system, organizing the balloon wall, working in canva on program and much more. The rest of the team included Tressa Mariotto, Trish Prenosi, Mrs. Mura and Anna Whelan as well as countless parents that helped to supervise, coach, and practice throughout.
Yet, the surprising group was the students and how welll they showcased their God-given talents last Friday night. Thank you to all involved. It truly was a show of talent and joy.
Missoula Children’s Theater 2026 Dates
The PTC is hosting the MCT again next year April 2026. And we will need 2 host families and also a lead contact who is willing to help the directors with any needs that they may have during the week in April. If interested in helping the PTC as the chair or as a host, please email them at ptc@assumption.school. Thank you.
Calling Playground Angels!
We have May and June schedules listed below to help at recess.
Thank you for helping the kids play safe!

Volunteer Reception on Friday, May 30th
All parents, grandparents, and volunteers are invited to a small gathering to enjoy some thanks and gratitude with a breakfast brunch.
Join us in the library at about 9:15am for coffee and treats. RSVP the office to help us plan the event. Thank you.
Parent Satisfaction Survey Update
We sincerely appreciate the 63 parents who took the time to complete the Parent Satisfaction Survey. This represents about 40% of our families, and your feedback is invaluable. The data is now being compiled and will be shared with Mr. Ramos.
Thank you for your thoughtful input and for helping us continue to grow and improve!
🏗️ Building Blocks – A Facilities Update
🎉 Curtain Call: Mission Accomplished!
Our theater curtain is officially up and ready for its close-up! This behind-the-scenes project was a real act of coordination, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers you know who you are—take a bow!). Huge thanks to Wellman & Zuck for the scaffolding, and to the Rawls Tree Service for helping us keep things safe and high reaching, as they were able to install areas we could not access. Standing ovation all around!
🧹 Need Volunteer Hours? Got 20 Minutes and a Pulse?
If you’re still chasing those volunteer hours before the school year ends, we’ve got projects galore. One of them is organizing the basement—a hidden realm of mystery, forgotten craft supplies, and that one weird lamp. Honestly, it’s kind of fun.
Not your vibe? No problem. Shoot me an email and I’ll match you with a project that suits your skills—or at least your tolerance for dust. Brenna@Assumption.org
🛠️ Big News: Classroom Renovations Are Coming! 🎨
Get ready, Building Block Heroes—we’re kicking off some exciting classroom renovations this summer, and we need your help to make it happen!
Think of it as spring cleaning meets HGTV, with a dash of glitter, a roll of construction tape, and a whole lot of heart. 💖
First Mission: Operation Pack-Up!
Right after the last bell rings, four classrooms need serious packing help:
- 2nd Grade
- 5th Grade
- Science Room
- Art Room
📦 We need volunteers ASAP! If you’ve got time (or boxes!) to spare, we’ll take both—many hands make light work, and fewer paper cuts.
Next Up: Paint & Carpet-Pulling Crew!
Mark your calendars for these transformation days:
🗓️ June 23–26
🗓️ July 27–31
We’ll be painting, pulling carpet, and probably discovering some mysteries under the floorboards (ancient snacks? lost crayons? who knows!).
✨ Thank you for your time, your muscles, and your incredible spirit. This community seriously rocks—and we’re just getting started.
