Assumption Catholic School, being a ministry of The Church of the Assumption, exists within the governing authority of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Seattle. The governing body of ACS, in collaboration with and through the actions of the leader/leadership team, maintains a constructive and beneficial relationship with the archdiocesan Education Office, consistent with archdiocesan policy pertaining to the recognition of Catholic schools by the Local Ordinary.
