2026-2027 TUITION RATES FOR KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE EIGHT:
Our school operates as a non-profit and builds fundraising into our operations budget to keep tuition as low as possible. Therefore, the “cost to educate” is not what families pay. ALL FAMILIES benefit from the subsidies of the Parent/Teacher Club, the Annual Fund, and the School Foundation.

2026-2027 FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Tuition Assistance
We are able to keep tuition affordable by offering financial assistance based on an individual family’s circumstances. The following are available by an application process. (Application deadline is ongoing for the first two, and deadline is December 31, 2025 for Fulcrum. View “Tuition Assistance” page for information). Tuition assistance is available for students in Kindergarten through Grade Eight.
- Tuition Assistance (Assumption Catholic School)… This ranges from $900 to $2400 per child, based on need.
- Tuition Assistance (Fulcrum Foundation)… This is a standard $1350 per child for those who qualify.
Faith Community Scholarships
These are offered by Whatcom Catholic parishes and any faith community who wishes to participate. Each community sets its own standards, but most require participation in the life of the parish, including weekend attendance and regular giving of time and tithe. Note: The application for Faith Community Scholarships will be available starting on February 1, 2026.
Tuition Assistance and Faith Community Scholarship awards will be communicated by the school office by early April 2026. Award amounts vary based on demonstrated financial need.

PRIORITY FOR ADMITTANCE
- Currently enrolled families. Assumption preschoolers have priority into Kindergarten.
- Those families selecting 5 days a week all day Pre-K will have priority admittance
- Registered and contributing parishioners of Church of the Assumption, Sacred Heart Church, St. Joseph, St. Anne, St. Peter, and St. Joachim
- Catholic family transferring from another Catholic school
- Catholic family from parishes other than those listed above
- Non-Catholic students transferring from other parishes or schools
- Non-Catholics
