Fabulous Fourth Grade Newsletter – March 27, 2026 edition

March 27, 20026

Dear Families,

We, as a school, did a great job on our Accreditation! Thank you for your support and prayers during that time. It has been a long 17 months to get to this point. Your children were great and presented themselves marvelously!

Field trip information: We will be gathering as a class at 7:45 am. We will be leaving by 8am! Please make sure your child is ready to go. Also we will not be back until at least 4:30, perhaps later, depending on traffic. Students may wear casual dress uniform. Please refer to the Family Handbook for more details on this. Students need to bring their lunch and something to drink. We will not being going to the gift shop or the cafeteria there. I will be sending out more detailed information shortly for the field trip to the Museum of Flight for March 31st for the drivers/chaperones. Be looking for an email from me then. A HUGE thank you to some of the parents that paid for the entire event!

Sunday starts Holy Week, the most important week of the Liturgical year! Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil (or Easter Mass) are a really special time. I encourage all of you to attend at least a couple of these important Masses or prayer services. Some of them start late, so it’s hard for families sometimes. None-the-less, our school has a marvelous “Agony in the Garden” (in the gym) and “Stations of the Cross” (in the church) both played out by our middle school students on Good Friday at 10:15. Please come and partake in the solemn time. There will be an early release at 11:45 am on Friday as well for you to spend quiet time together as a family, commemorating the time that Jesus was on the cross – noon-3pm.

I am moving the book report from April 14th to April 21st. Two days after Spring break doesn’t seem like enough time. However, please make sure your child is reading their book! The students will have to “sell” their book. I will send out the criteria for it after Spring break.

Enjoy your time as a family over Spring Break!

Blessings,

Paula A. Martin-Zender

Fabulous Fourth Grade Newsletter – March 6, 2025 edition

Dear Families,

Thank you for all of your prayers for my surgery ten days ago. It was a slow recovery but I’m much better than I was last week! Your children were good to me and able to help me when I came back on Wednesday. I was in the classroom today with Mrs. Eusabio teaching while I was able to catch up on everything as well as plan for next week. I great appreciate the patience!

The next book report is on Thursday! Students will be writing their summaries on Seesaw. There is nothing for them to do at home other than be done with reading the book!

I would love to have someone come into my classroom and do some filling and a few other things weekly on Friday morning or just before school gets out on Thursday. Please let me know if you are interested.
