Dear Families, March 21, 2025
Wow! Your children and I worked hard this week on the Science Fair projects! Two other people were instrumental in arriving at the finish line. Those two people are the Room Parents, Kylinn Armstrong and Sherry Christopherson! They were here for Science Class the last two days for the last two weeks, helping with the trifold presentations. I can’t thank them enough because I would have been a much crazier person with that help! So thank you, Kylinn and Sherry!
In Religion we have been learning about Catholic Relief Services that the Rice Bowl collection is for. We are learning how they work in the world with one story each week. Here is the link about Guatemala which was this week’s focus and this the link from last week’s focus: Nigeria. Next week, we are focusing on Bangladesh.
Assumption Church has asked ACS students to lead the church’s Stations of the Cross in the evening. We need more English speakers for the bilingual event! I would love to have my students volunteer for it. It is on Friday, March 28th 5:45-6:45 with a rehearsal on Tuesday, March 25th right after school. Here is the link for the sign up.
We have many weekends in April, including Spring Break, that are open for sign ups for a weekend with Pebbles. Sign up here SignUpGenius.
Blessings,
Paula A. Martin-Zender
