Week 3

Week 3 September 17, 2019

Kindergarten – In physical education the students will continue working on personal space through jump rope series and cooperation around the parachute. An engaged active life-long learner who:  works collaboratively.  

First grade  In physical education the students will continue working on personal space through jump rope series and cooperation around the parachute. An engaged active life-long learner who:  works collaboratively. 

Second grade – In physical education the students have learned that during recess they can play a variety of activities that help them be happy with others and be healthy. An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. They will begin soccer/ football ball handling unit. 

Third grade – In physical education students have prepared to begin the Inline Skate unit. The students have learned that during recess they can play a variety of activities that help them be happy with others and be healthy. An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. 

Fourth grade – In physical education the students have learned that during recess the variety of activities that they play contribute to their fitness and good health.   An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. They have begun the tennis unit.  

Fifth grade – In physical education the students have made “fortune teller” to practice skills that relate to the skill fitness components. These activities contribute to improvement of their physical skills: agility, balance, speed, coordination, power and reaction time.  An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. They will begin the Flag football unit. 

Sixth grade – In physical education students worked on understanding Phases of a Workout by planning with their Servant Leadership groups activities.  They will then lead the class at a scheduled time throughout the year. An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. The students will begin Flag football. 

Seventh grade – In physical education students worked on understanding Phases of a Workout by planning with their Servant Leadership groups activities.  They will then lead the class at a scheduled time throughout the year. An engaged active life-long learner who: works collaboratively. The students will begin to ride on campus for the bike unit, September 25thThis week we will practice changing a flat tire. Please return permission slips for off campus rides, and sign up to support the rides!  Bikes will be stored and safe in the Phys. Ed equipment room for the unit
