I will disable our Teams channel sometime tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In place of Teams, we will be using &#8220;Seesaw;&#8221; it will take some time before we assignments will be posted here. More information forthcoming!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reminder: There is no penalty for late work<\/strong>, but in order to keep students accountable, I will stick with this system of changing M&#8217;s to zeroes every 2 weeks or so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Practice &amp; Pep Band<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideally, students should practice at <em><strong>least 5-10 minutes a night<\/strong><\/em> to maintain the skills we go over in class. Repetition and thoughtful practice are the keys to success in life and in band! Students should practice with a <strong>metronome,<\/strong> and brass players could greatly benefit from a <strong>tuner<\/strong> to ensure they are playing the accurate notes (each fingering\/slide position has different, achievable notes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can access a free, online tuner and metronome here: <a href=\"https:\/\/school.assumption.org\/music\/metronome-tuner\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"263\"><strong>Metronome\/Tuner<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been working on a few songs in class, including &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:#88bde7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Hot Cross Buns<\/mark><\/em>,&#8221; &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:#88bde7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">We Will Rock You<\/mark><\/em>,&#8221; &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:#88bde7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Seven Nation Army<\/mark><\/em>,&#8221; and &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:#88bde7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Hey!
