I am writing this post after the devastating floods that have affected our communities. I pray for the families of our school and community wide who may have lost their homes, businesses, and belongings to the flood waters.
This time of year, all music classes are working on preparing and memorizing a song to perform for the Christmas Program. The students are meeting this challenge with enthusiasm, and I have had many request at-home practice recourses for their songs. For each grade, I will provide some useful links for you and your child to look at and listen to together. Even just listening to the song is very valuable and an easy, passive way to aide in learning the music. We will continue to spend class time learning the music, but with emergency closures and break coming up, I wanted to make sure these tools are available to those who want to take advantage of them.
