We will learn about equivalent ratios, and how to use ratios in our daily life. Understanding ratios is a useful life skill to have! We will assess our ratio skills on Thursday with a quiz. We will review like terms and the rules for combining them. Then, we will learn about the distributive property. Next, we will review factoring and learn how to find the greatest common factor in terms. Finally we will learn how to factor algebraic expressions. We will finish off the short week with a quiz on Thursday on algebraic expressions. We will review plotting points and move on to graphing whole lines. We will learn about slope-intercept form and what &#8216;m&#8217; and &#8216;b&#8217; represent. We will have a quiz on Friday about graphing. This form of the equation makes graphing quite easy as it tells what the y-intercept and slope are right away.
