Dear Families, March 15, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had fun with our St. Patrick’s Day or Green Day. We were the mischievous leprechauns for our Pre-K buddies! We LOVED playing the big kids’ part! We also had another reader’s theater this week as well as lots of writing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also had fun on Pi Day with our scientists and mathematicians!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academics<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Religion<\/strong> \u2013 Fourth Grade Theologians learned about the Prophet Moses and how God made a covenant with him to bring the Israelites to the Promised Land. We had fun memorizing the Ten Commandments!
Language <\/strong>\u2013 Fourth grade readers are reading Shiloh<\/em>, a book about a family living in West Virginia. For spelling, we focused on words ending with comparatives (-er) and superlatives (-est). We also are honing in on our summarizing non-fiction by finding “Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How” and then using those to write a good solid paragraph. Finally, we worked hard on writing our book reports on Seesaw!
Math <\/strong>\u2013 Mathematicians are learning how multiply fractions. There are many steps to remember!
Social Studies<\/strong> \u2013 We are diving into Native American in Washington asking the essential question: “How did God’s Creation affect Native peoples of Washington?”<\/p>\n\n\n

Friday, March 22 –<\/strong> Mass – dress uniform!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specialists<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
