Fun Run Success!

Thank you to everyone who showed up, helped students collect pledges and volunteered for the 37th Annual Ellen Anderson Fun Run! The weather was beautiful, many laps were run, and lots of fun was had! While pledges are still rolling in, we have so far raised $17,900.12. A HUGE THANKS to our fabulous Fun Run Chairs, Natalie Milligan and Shannon Zebrowski who worked countless hours ensuring the success of this important fundraiser. We are so grateful for your time and talents! Remember all pledge money is due to the office no later than Friday, May, 21st.

Health Screener and Playground Angel Volunteers

We’re in the home stretch! Please dig deep and sign up wherever you can. We truly rely on these positions to have our students here safely. Thank you in advance for your support!

Please note: In addition to paring down to two Health Screeners each morning, we’ve restructured our lunch recess times in order to have fewer kids on the playground.  The schedule is:

 11:25-11:55 2nd-4th grade

11:55-12:25 5th-8th grade

12:25-12:55 Kindergarten and First Grade

Please pick two half hour shifts in order to get your full volunteer hour. Thank you!

Support for the Salcidos

Our Care & Concern Ministry continues to coordinate meals to support the Salcido family. To sign up for a meal, please visit the link here:  https://mealtrain.com/rw14nw

Many thanks to the families who have gifted the Salcidos with SCRIP and financial support. Our community continually rallies when one of us is hurting. Please feel free to send items of support for them through the office anytime.

Volunteer Appreciation

Every parent (who is also a volunteer!) will receive a small gift from our teachers and staff this Friday as you pull through the traffic loop. We would typically do a reception in the gym and the staff would provide coffee, tea, and goodies. However, this year, we’ll celebrate you a little differently and from a safe, social distance. Please give yourself a little extra time in the morning on Friday, knowing that the traffic may go a little slower as children are being dropped off. This will also be the day to recognize our Volunteer of the Year (to be announced), and to thank our PTC Chair, Stephanie Wolf. Look in next week’s newsletter to find out who received this special honor in 2021, memorialized on a perpetual plaque in the school’s entryway. Thank you to all of our volunteers who have done so much this year!

Friday, May 21st

6th-8th grade students should plan to wear their dress uniform this Friday for School Mass. Parents of children in participating grades are also welcome to attend/sit with them. Only students attending Mass in person need to wear dress uniforms, and regular uniforms for all other grades.
