Noémi Bán- Volunteer of the Year
Mrs. Ban won the Volunteer of the Year Award at last Friday’s reception and we were so glad to honor her for all she’s done for Assumption. She died peacefully that Friday night surrounded by family and friends at the age of 96. Her award was given to her family and three of our teachers were able to attend her memorial service on Tuesday. What an extraordinary woman she was! We are blessed to have known her.
2019-2020 Paperwork Packet – DUE June 14th!
All the paperwork needed to start next year is in your parent envelope today. Please note that some forms are per student. The office compiles this information over the summer to be able to start the year updated and correct! Please fill it out and return before June 14th… sooner is even better!
Please see the attached list of color groups for tomorrow’s Peace Festival. The students are all mixed into different color groups. This means that not all of one grade will be a set color, each classroom will look like a rainbow! Tomorrow is also a free dress day as long as you wear a shirt in your color group.
Lost and Found
It’s time to empty out the Lost & Found bins. We have a lot of sweatshirts, coats and all sort of miscellaneous items. If your student is missing anything, please stop by or have your student stop by to go through the containers. The two containers are located near the 1st grade classroom on the 1st floor. I’ll be displaying all the lost and found items on a table in the entryway by the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday June 11th, 12th and 13th. Any unclaimed items will be donated. You can help reduce the number of unclaimed items by labeling your students’ items with their name. Items that are labeled with a name are returned to the appropriate classroom. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Aey Angeli at 360-592-0123 or email@example.com
