“Protecting God’s Children” Class

The Church of Assumption has scheduled another Protecting God’s Children class at Assumption, in the school library, on Saturday, March 30th at 9-12.  If you want to volunteer, you will need to take this class. Please sign up in the VIRTUS program at under Live Training.

BOX TOPS Contest!

We are having a quick turn-around (one week) Box Tops collection! The class that turns in the most Box Tops by Wednesday, February 27th will win a Pizza Party! Please send Box Tops through the Wednesday Envelope or to the office clearly marked as to which class gets the credit. Each class has an ever-increasing collection bag in the office and every class already has some in it! Clip those Box Tops! We’ve already earned over $600 this year!

Pizza Lunch Rescheduled

Since we didn’t have school on 2/11 (SNOW DAY!), we have rescheduled our Pizza Lunch to Monday, 2/25. The orders that were placed for 2/11 will stand. You would only need to submit an order for 2/25 if you didn’t order last time. The order form is attached. Please print and submit through the Parent Envelope either this week. The deadline will be Friday, 2/22 by 3:00 pm.

Growing Great Kids Auction Information

Due to last week’s school closure, the RSVP deadline for the auction has been extended to this Friday, February 22. Get your RSVP in now! Gather a table of your family and friends for wonderful evening of celebration!

We still have volunteer opportunities available for both at-home and the day of the event. Contact growinggreatkidsauction@gmail.com to find out ways you can help the auction and fulfill fundraising hours!

PTC News

Assumption Business Directory:  The PTC would like to make it easier for parents to support each other in business!  This will be a FREE service.  If you have a business or offer a service and would like to have it included in the new directory, please contact Dayna Dennis: dwdennis72@gmail.com. When we have an idea of how many families are interested, we’ll be able to determine how it will be organized and distributed. Thank you!

FACTS Tuition Management (Updated information as of 2/20/19)

Please remember to sign up for a FACTS plan payment before March 15th (the sooner, the better). Some parents had asked if it must be automatically be withdrawn from a person’s bank account. This is only one of the payment options. You can set up to be invoiced and then pay it online or submit a payment when you are ready. You can pay by credit card (fee is charged to you), a personal check to FACTS, cash to the school office, or an automatic debit. This needs to be done by March 15th so that you can be charged the $250 registration fee per child. If the registration isn’t paid, then your child won’t be on next year’s class list so please do this as soon as you’ve turned in your registration paperwork. Remember, if you already have an account in FACTS because you apply for tuition assistance, you will not need to set up a new account.

March 2nd – Growing Great Kids Auction 5:00 pm at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club

March 9th – School and Garden Clean-Up Day, 9 am to 12 pm. Lunch will be provided.

March 29th – Film: “Pope Francis: A Man of His Word” will be shown in the school gym at 7 pm during Lenten Soup Suppers
